Dina Lohan may spend half of her life defending the actions of her daughter, but when it comes to being a grateful daughter, Lindsay Lohan still has a few things to learn. The troubled actress reportedly got into an ugly sceaming match with her mom (on her birthday!) resulting in the freckled party star storming out of the NYC eatery they were celebrating Dina's big day.

'On Thursday night, Lindsay reluctantly joined Dina for Dina's birthday celebration at Phillipe on East 60th Street. "Lindsay got a call from her mother telling her to come to the party," said a spy. "Lindsay didn't want to go, because her mother was drinking already, but she went anyway." All was well until the first course arrived. "When Lindsay got there, her mother and her four friends were into their second bottle of Cristal," said a restaurantgoer. "Right after the first course, they started fighting." The two began cursing each other in front of other patrons in the crowded Chinese eatery, including Ryan Cabrera, Brandy and Serena Williams at nearby tables. "A mortified" Lindsay finally told her mother to "go to hell!" before she exited. After Lindsay left, Dina started "crying and shaking . . . Dina typed vigorously on her BlackBerry for 45 minutes while her friends were just sitting there, and when the birthday cake came out, she broke out crying again - even louder."' After reportedly making "five trips to the bathroom in 90 minutes", a distraught Dina began throwing fortune cookies at the waiters and flipping them off before finally paying the $2,000 bill. To add a cherry on top of such a blessed evening, Dina failed to tip the patient waiters who, by the way, had to be assisted as she staggered out of the restaurant as it closed down for the night.

The Simple Life star has been dogged by the anorexic tag for months, but insists she simply suffers from stress and finds it difficult to eat when she feels she's being judged by photographers and journalists. She recently took supermodel-turned-TV presenter Tyra Banks out for lunch before appearing on her talk show to discuss her weight issues, and confessed stories about her fabled anorexia simply serve to prevent her from gaining weight. Appearing healthy and tanned on Tyra, Richie told the ex-model, "You definitely don't want people constantly looking you up and down. I know the photographers are following me every day; I know that they're looking for something wrong and that doesn't feel good at all. That obviously doesn't help me." Richie revealed she has hired a nutritionist and has therapy sessions in a bid to control her stress levels and gain weight.

Ashlee Simpson To Play Roxie Hart Sooner Than Expected
Pop star Ashlee Simpson has impressed Chicago producers in London's West End so much, her start date in the musical has been brought forward.Originally slated to take the stage as Roxie Hart in October, Simpson will join the cast of the hit show on September 25 for a limited six-week run.
The 21 year-old singer's West End turn will briefly crossover with fellow pop star Usher's run as singing lawyer Billy Flynn in the Broadway production of the musical.

TOLUCA, Mexico - Teenage actor Pablo Santos, who starred in the television series "Greetings from Tucson," died after a small plane in which he was riding crashed in Mexico, a hospital official said Saturday. The Piper Malibu crashed Friday just over a mile short of the runway as it was making its approach to the airport in Toluca, some 35 miles west of Mexico City, according to the Mexico State Security Agency. Six other people were hospitalized. Santos, 19, was taken to the Social Security Hospital, where he died Friday, hospital spokeswoman Irma Garcia Guardarrama said. Santos starred as the son of a Mexican-American family portrayed in "Greetings from Tucson," which ran on the WB network from 2002 to 2003. He had appeared in numerous episodes on other television programs, including "Boston Public," "Law & Order" and "American Family," as well as films such as "Sea of Dreams" and "Party Animalz." Born in Monterrey, Santos moved with his family to Los Angeles when he was 12. Officials were investigating the cause of the accident.

THE busty blond starlet who called Paris Hilton a lousy actress has an ax to grind, says the director of Hilton's new direct-to-video comedy.
As we reported this week, Simona Fusco, who dances topless in "Bottoms Up," said Hilton showed up late on the set and hadn't memorized her lines. But filmmaker Erik MacArthur told us the hotel heiress not only was perfectly competent, but has star quality. "I think Simona is trying to take down the movie," MacArthur added. While he won't speculate on the Italian starlet's motives, MacArthur admitted having a fling with Fusco and giving her just one line to speak: "Last one in is a rotten egg!"
Meanwhile, Ian Schrager, the owner of the Gramercy Park Hotel, explained to Page Six why Paris is not welcome at the hotel's Rose Bar. "I have absolutely nothing personal against Paris Hilton - in fact I've never even met her. We're just trying to do something different here."

Diddy Gets Caught in Danity Kane Aubrey/Dawn CrossfireIn an exclusive interview, MediaTakeOut.com spoke with a Bad Boy insider who claims that Danity Kane's Aubrey and Dawn have been fighting for weeks. According to the insider, "Dawn and [Diddy] have been spending a lot of time together recently - and its supposedly work related." Our source continued, "Aubrey has been [Diddy's] favorite, so she's upset about Dawn getting the extra attention."
Our source claims that during a recent rehearsal, Aubrey confronted Dawn about her "close" relationship with Diddy - and it turned violent. The insider tells, "I heard the girls yelling at each other, and Aubrey called Dawn a slut." Our tipster continued, "then all hell broke loose and there was a big commotion ... I'm not sure what happened but I was frightened."
Since Danity Kane was formed, rumors of an inappropriate relationship between Diddy and Aubrey have been rampant. We asked our insider whether he or she believed that Diddy was romantically involved with either girl. The source told MediaTakeOut.com, "I think that something probably happened with Aubrey but I'm not sure about Dawn." But our source added, "who knows though, they have been spending a lot of time together and [Dawn] kind of reminds me of a young Kim [Porter]."

We're told the 19-year-old star swapped numbers with one of 50 Cent's G-Unit and lothario Calum Best - while ignoring her boyfriend Harry Morton. One clubber tells us: "Lindsay and Harry barely talked all night, she was busy dancing with other blokes and even gave her number out twice. "At one stage she demanded that the men's toilets be closed off for her because she didn't like the ladies. But all was OK by the end of the night as she and Harry left together."
