I would never leave `Desperate Housewives,'" Longoria told The Associated Press. "I love doing both (TV and film), but I would never do another TV show after `Desperate Housewives.' No."
Longoria, who plays saucy Gabrielle Solis on the ABC dramedy, can next be seen on the big screen in "How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiancee," due in 2007. She made her mainstream movie debut opposite Michael Douglas in "The Sentinel" earlier this year. The third season of "Desperate Housewives" begins Sept. 24.

John Mayer: Very "Uncomfortable" Being Linked To Jessica

John Mayer speaks! The last we heard on the subject was "someone close to John" reporting that he felt Jessica Simpson's camp was turning their casual friendship into something huge (a "2" they shot to an "11" - read our post about Papa Joe kicking publicist Rob Shuter to the curb in the archives!) as a publicity stunt to boost sales for her album, "A Public Affair". The singer speaks with Nancy O'Dell of Access Hollywood tonight, here are some juicy snippets from the interview!

John Mayer Speaks About Jessica Simpson Publicly For The First Time!

Nancy: “How do you react when you've been so much in the public eye, because of this relationship, whether it happened or not, so in a way, it's not bad publicity…”
John: “There's nothing about it at all that I wake up in the morning and go to bed at night and say to myself, "Hmm, it's kind of got a shiny edge to it." There's nothing about it that's interesting to me or fascinating with me. I wanna get where I wanna get because I got better on the guitar.”
Nancy: “Was it so bent? That you never even dated Jessica?”
John: “I want to acknowledge that there's two separate things happening. There's the home life that I defend as a guy who’s just here to play music, and you don't see me on red carpets like this...and like that.”
Nancy: “You don't even go to red carpets.”
John: “Don't go to red carpets. So it’s very odd for me and I just basically -- it’s very uncomfortable for me.”
“... There are real crises in the world; there are people who are fighting to keep their house warm and I'm not going to sit here and bite my nails because someone says that I might possibly have gone a date with a beautiful blond girl. I'm not going to sit here beating myself up over the head with it. But what is challenging to me is that I have a contract with my audience in a way, that I exist-- I'm their guy who's just here to play music, you know, and that has never changed. That has certainly not changed in the last 2 weeks and I'm here to play music, you know?”
Nancy: “Do you feel like it takes away from the music?”
John: “Absolutely.”
Nancy: “But there are the people that would go, now they're more fascinated with you and they may go out and get your album because they're fascinated with your relationship.”
John: “In my mind, that's cheating.”

Saturday evening, Ashlee and her mini-entourage stopped by Barney’s New York with only 20 minutes til closing, to peruse the merch and possibly purch. Our source, who was with Ashlee during her spree, describes the scene as such: Employees roped off four dressing rooms for Ashlee and her friends, which were stuffed to the gills with clothes — size ZERO, if you were wondering. She then somehow magically tried on everything in the four rooms in under 20 minutes, all the while “looking really beautiful”, with her bodyguard standing closeby. At the end of the fitting room frenzy, Ashlee ended up purchasing $11,000 worth of merchandise (again, while being in the store for under 30 minutes), including some items for her friends and her assistant...[Simpson] refused to have her clothes wrapped and folded, telling the salesman to just shove her new purchases in the shopping bag.

Former Cosby Star Keisha Knight Pulliam's Cocaine Usage Discovered

Bossip has exclusively learned that Keisha Knight Pulliam formerly of the Cosby Show (Rudy) has a cocaine habit that goes back years. Multiple sources tell Bossip that Keisha ran in an elite circle of Morehouse and Spelman students in Atlanta who dabbled in cocaine while in college. The source who is a member of this circle says he witnessed Keisha do a line of coke at a party and that one of their friends from Florida dropped out of college and fell on hard times due to this cocaine culture within this elite group of primarily wealthy students. “Keisha still does coke and it is widely known by her friends, it’s not a secret” says a source.
Bossip has contacted members of this circle of Morehouse and Spelman students and Keisha’s cocaine habit is said to be beyond “dabbling”.
Sources tell Bossip that Keisha came to Spelman College during her freshman year "round and plumpy" and not only used cocaine for the high, but to lose weight as well. “Cocaine was the drug of choice to lose weight for the elite group of girls at Spelman” says another source to Bossip. Sources say Keisha still does coke but her habit is “managed and covered up pretty well.” It seems no child star from the Different Strokes and Cosby Show days made it squeaky clean from the child star syndrome.

Socialite Paris Hilton has been blasted by co-star Simona Fusco, who has accused the heiress of almost ruining new movie Bottoms Up with her diva antics. Fusco claims Hilton, who was arrested on Thursday on suspicion of drunk driving, is "annoying" and insists the aspiring actress has no talent at all. Fusco fumes, "I don't think there's any talent there. My biggest problem with Paris was that she was always late on the set. It became very annoying. Everyone gets tired. "By the time Paris finally showed up, she was usually coming from a party. She never memorized her lines. So now, not only does she show up late, but on top of it she didn't have her lines ready to go. It was a very long day working with Paris."

Anna Nicole Smith Gives Birth To Daughter, Loses Son 3 Days Later

The former Playboy Playmate's 20-year-old son was found dead in a Nassau hospital Sunday, three days after Smith gave birth to a healthy baby girl in the Bahamas.
Daniel Smith had traveled to the Caribbean nation to be with his mother, according to a statement posted on her official Website. His body was discovered Sunday morning in a room of the private Doctor's Hospital in Nassau. Police declined to provide specifics about the circumstances of the death, which remains under investigation.
"We have yet to learn the cause of death but do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor," Smith's lawyer, Howard K. Stern, said in a statement. "Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being."
As a teenager, Daniel Smith made frequent appearances on his mother's eponymous E! Entertainment reality show. (E! Online and E! Entertainment are divisions of E! Networks.)
Daniel was the product of Smith's marriage to Billy Smith, whom she married in 1985, when she was 16 and he was 17. The couple divorced in 1987. Smith announced her pregnancy in June. She has not revealed who fathered her daughter.

Fergie, the female voice of the Black Eyed Peas, says she had to dig deep into herself to kick her crystal meth addiction. "It was the hardest boyfriend I ever had to break up with," Stacey "Fergie" Ferguson told Time magazine in an interview for the issue that hits newsstands Monday.
"It's the drug that's addicting," said Fergie, who has released her first solo album, "The Dutchess." "But it's why you start doing it in the first place that's interesting. A lot of it was being a child actor; I learned to suppress feelings." When asked what she does now with those feelings, she said, "I have an hour and a half of performing every night and improvising. If there's a rafter, I can climb right on." Asked if she ever met Sarah Ferguson, the duchess of York, she said, "We're talking about doing some charity work together, building schools."
