Rap star 50 Cent is busily producing Ll Cool J's last ever album for Def Jam - and the collaboration is proving prolific. Cool J claims he is looking forward to leaving Jay-Z's hip-hop label in a bid to work with people who are more on his wavelength, although he admits his collaboration with 50 Cent has been intensely creative. He says, "We did six records in three or four days".
On leaving Def Jam, he adds, "For me, I needed to go and work with somebody who really had my best interests at heart".

LL Teams Up With 50 Cent, But Happy To Be Leaving Jay-Z
LL Cool J is coming out with another album. Woohoo... rapper 50 Cent will be acting as producer and it will be LL's last on Def Jam, the label with rapper Jay-Z acting as Presidente.
